Your greenhouse is delivered into your yard and completely assembled for you . NO foundation of any kind is required; no concrete, railroad ties or wood. (Saves work and $$$$). A building permit is very seldom required as no foundation is involved. Simply dig a 20" wide trench 3 - 6" in the ground for the base of the greenhouse to set into. Also by trenching in the ground you keep out the bugs, slugs, moles, etc., but mainly this will keep the wind out, greatly reducing the lift factor. For the last 10-15 years we have had our greenhouses in the windiest places in the West, i.e. Foothills of the Rockies, North Pacific Coast, Central Plains, where they have withstood winds in excess of 100 miles per hour. Once properly set up, we have not lost one to the wind. Also, from Alaska to the Great Lakes we have not had a complaint of material cracking in 40 below temperatures, nor have we had complaints of your greenhouses being damaged by hail.
When we receive your order, we will provide you with simple site preparation instructions and a list of helpful hints showing how many of our customers have successfully withstood 4-5 degrees of frost at night with no mechanical heat We have even had people say they withstood 10 degrees of frost.
